General

Q.  What are the booking conditions/payment methods?
A.  There are specific and detailed conditions pertaining to the various products we offer in the Caribbean. Many owners have their own requirements and there is therefore no general contract or list of conditions to be considered. Once a specific interest or reservation is given, financial and other pertinent booking details can be arranged.

Q.  Do you book regular flights, car rentals, etc?
A.  We do have registered travel agents whom we deal with for matters such as flight bookings, but it would be the same as if you were to contact your local travel agent. We do have representatives at each of the destinations we offer to handle requests for airport transfers or car/limousine rentals. All of this information can be discussed in detail with your caribbeanvillas.org representative at your time of booking.

Q. Can we visit the property?
A. We are happy to try to organize a visit of available properties and arrange a meeting with our local representative when possible. A reservation deposit may be necessary and is subject to rules of the standard deposit contract. Villa visits can be extremely difficult to organize at times, due to availability, client's or owner's privacy reasons. However, with the larger, most exclusive villas, a visit request is certainly understandable and we will do everything possible to accommodate your needs.

Q.  How far in advance should we book our villa vacation?
A.  We recommend inquiring up to one year in advance for your luxury holiday rentals. It would be best to have all papers and details settled 6 - 8 months prior to departure in order to ensure availability of your requested villa for your requested dates. This, however, does not mean that reservations are limited to several months before departure. It has certainly happened several times in the past that clients have made a reservation for a villa within a day or two of departure, but we do not encourage such practices for obvious reasons.
